A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE STATE OF FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION PUBLIC
TRANSPORTATION SUPPLEMENTAL JOINT
PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT (FIN. PRO& NO. 412694-1-
94-01) FOR THE DESIGN AND REHABILITATION OF
CROSSWIND RUNWAY 14/32 AT THE ST. LUCIE
COUNTY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND
AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRPERSON TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE
COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has
made the following determinations:
1. The Florida Department of Transportation has awarded the County funding for the
Design and Rehabilitation of Crosswind Runway 14/32 at the St. Lucie County International
Airport (Fin. Proj. No. 412694-1-94-01).
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the Public Transportation
Supplemental Joint Participation Agreement with the State of Florida Department of Public
Transportation for the above-referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the Public Transportation Supplemental Joint
Participation Agreement with the State of Florida (Fin. Proj. No. 412694-1-94-01) to provide
funding for the design and rehabilitation of Crosswind Runway 14/32 at the St. Lucie County
International Airport.
2. The Board hereby authorizes the Chairperson to execute the above-referenced
agreement and further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it
as to form and correctness.
After motion and second, the vote on this resolution was as follows:
