HomeMy WebLinkAbout03-284RESOLUTION NO. 03-284 WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the budget for the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption have become available from the Florida Department of Transportation in the form of a Pre-Qualified Public Transportation Joint Participation Agreement for the purpose of providing funding for expenses incurred by the Port of Fort Pierce during the restoration of Taylor Creek in the amount of $1,750,000. WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, in meeting assembled this 25th day of November, 2003, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2003-2004, and the budget for the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners is hereby amended as follows: REVENUES 140329-4315-334411-4657 APPROPRIATIONS 140329-4315-563000-4657 Improvements OFF Buildings After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows: Florida Department of Transportation $1,750,000 $1,750,000 Commissioner Paula A.
