RESOLUTION NO. 03-94
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
APPROVING THE INDRIO NORTH SA V ANNAHS
MANAGEMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, florida, at an
advertised hearing open to the public on May 13, 2003, considered the North Indrio
Savannahs Management Plan and the recommendations of its staff with regard thereto, and
has made the following determinations:
1. The Indrio North Savannahs Management Plan is consistent with the
Comprehensive Plan of St. Lucie County.
2. It is in the public interest to approve and implement the Indrio North
Savannahs Management Plan, including the Acquisition Plan contained therein, the same being
necessary for the public and county purposes of: providing public open space and recreational
opportunities for residents of the County; preserving and enhancing greenways in northeastern
St. Lucie County; preserving unique ecological communities and endangered and threatened
habitat; and, for other conservation and natural resource management objectives
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St.
Lucie County, florida that:
PART A.
THE INDRIO NORTH SAVANNAHS MANAGEMENT PLAN, ATTACHED AS
"EXHIBIT A", INCLUDING THE ACQUISITION PLAN CONTAINED
THEREIN, IS HEREBY APPROVED.
After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows:
