RESOLUTION NO. 01-52
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF THE SHIRLEY CONROY
RURAL AREA CAPITAL EQUIPMENT SUPPORT GRANT APPLICATION
WITH THE FLORIDA COMMISSION FOR THE TRANSPORTATION
DISADVANTAGED AND DESIGNATING THE COMMUNITY SERVICES
DIRECTOR AS THE DESIGNATED STAFF PERSON FOR THE
COMMUNITY TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR
DUTIES FOR ST. LUCIE COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida,
has made the following determinations:
This Board is authorized to submit a Shirley Conroy Rural Area Capital Equipment
Support Grant Application to the Florida Commission for the Transportation
Disadvantaged.
This Board is authorized to undertake a transportation disadvantaged service project
pursuant to Section 427.0159, Florida Statutes, and Rule 41.2, Florida Administrative
Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA:
I. This Board hereby authorizes the submission of the Shirley Conroy Rural Area Capital Equipment
Support Grant Application with the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged in the total
amount orS 135,000 in Transportation Disadvantaged Trust Fund monies and $15,000 dollars local monies,
a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A";
-2. This Board authorizes the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners to execute the
application and any subsequent award agreement on behalf of the Board.

3. This Board further designates the St. Lucie County Community Services Director as tine staff
position to execute any and all subsequent documents necessary including agreements, assurances,
reimbursement invoices, warranties and other documents which may be required in connection with the
Transportation Disadvantaged Commission.
4. This resolution shall become effective on adoption.
