RESOLUTION NO. 03-01
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ASSISTANT COUNTY
ATTORNEY AS ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL OFFICER FOR
THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL
BOARD
WHEREAS, the St. Lucie County Environmental Control Board, has made the following
determinations:
1. On July 1, 1983, Chapter 83-511, Special Acts, Laws of Florida enacted the St. Lucie
County Environmental Control Act providing for a St. Lucie County Environmental Control
Board consisting of the five(5) members of the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County.
2. The St. Lucie County Environmental Control Board shall appoint an environmental
control officer whose duties shall include enforcing the provisions of the act;
3. The current Environmental Control Officer is Daniel S. McIntyre, County Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Lucie County Environmental
Control Board of St. Lucie County, Florida.
1. The Board does hereby appoint Katherine Mackenzie-Smith, Assistant County
Attorney as the Environmental Control Officer pursuant to Chapter 83-511, Special Acts,
Laws of Florida and Chapter 2-6.5 St. Lucie County Code of Ordinances.
