WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners
budget for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of ~doption of the budget
have become available in the form of a contribution from the City of Fort Pierce for the construction
of the Smithsonian Marine Ecosystem Museum.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to
adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida, in meeting assembled this 16h day of January, 2001, pursuant to Section 129.06
(d), Florida Statutes, such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2000-2001, and the
County's budget is hereby amended as follows:
