" RESOLUTION 03-085 FILE NO.: RZ-Oa-024 A RESOLUTION GRANTING A CHANGE IN ZONING FROM THE RS-3 (RESIDENTIAL, SINGLE-FAMilY - 3 DU/ACRE) ZONING DISTRICT TO THE AR-1 (AGRICULTURAL, RESIDENTIAL - 1 DU/ACRE) ZONING DISTRICT ZONING DISTRICT OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN ST. lUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, based on the testimony and evidence, including, but not limited to the staff report, has made the following determinations: 1. Dale T. Mosher. presented a petition for a change in zoning from the RS-3 (Residential, Single-Family - 3 du/acre) Zoning District to the AR-1 (Agricultural, Residential - 1 du/acre) Zoning District for the property depicted on the attached maps as Exhibit "A" and described below. 2. On August 21, 2003, the St. Lucie County Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing on the petition, after publishing notice at least 10 days prior to the hearing and notifying by mail all owners of property within 500 feet of the subject property, and recommended that the Board of County Commissioners approve a change in zoning from the RS-3 (Residential, Single-Family - 3 du/acre) Zoning District to the AR-1 (Agricultural, Residential- 1 du/acre) Zoning District. 3. On September 16, 2003, this Board held a public hearing on the petition, after publishing notice at least 10 days prior to the hearing and notifying by mail all owners of property within 500 feet of the subject property. 4. The proposed change in zoning has satisfied the requirements of Section 11.06.03 of the St. Lucie County Land Development Code and is consistent with the goals, objectives, and policies of the St. Lucie County Comprehensive Plan. 5. The proposed change in zoning is consistent with the existing and proposed use of property in the surrounding area. The proposed Change in the Zoning District Classification from the RS-3 (Residential, Single-Family - 3 du/acre) Zoning District to the AR-1 (Agricultural, Residential - 1 du/acre) Zoning District for that property depicted on the attached maps as Exhibit "A" and described as follows: SECTION 30, TOWNSHIP 35 SOUTH, RANGE 40EAST. THE EAST 1/2 OF THE EAST 1/2 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 - LESS THE SOUTH 400 FEET - AND THE NORTH 340 FEET OF THE SOUTH 1/2 OF THE WEST 1/2 OF THE EAST 1/2 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 - LESS THE NORTH 140 FEET OF THE EAST 171 FEET OF THE WEST 186 FEET - AND BEGINNING AT A POINT ON THE NORTH RIGHT-OF-WAY OF EDWARDS ROAD 20 FEET WEST OF THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE SOUTH 1/2 OF THE WEST 1/2 OF THE EAST 1/2 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 RUN NORTH PARALLEL TO THE EAST LINE OF SAID SECTION TO A POINT 20 FEET WEST OF THE EAST LINE OF THE SOUTH 1/2 OF THE WEST 1/2 OF THE EAST 1/2 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 AND 340 FEET SOUTH OF THE SOUTH LINE OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4, THENCE RUN EAST 20 FEET, THENCE SOUTH TO THE NORTH RIGHT- OF-WAY OF EDWARDS ROAD, THENCE WEST TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. CONTAINING 9.67 ACRES, MORE OR LESS. (Tax ID#: 2430-111-0001-000/5) (Location: 4200 Edwards Road) owned by Dale T. Mosher, is hereby approved. B. The St. Lucie County Community Development Director is hereby authorized and directed to cause the change to be made on the Official Zoning Map of St. Lucie County, Florida, and to make notation of reference to the date of adoption of this resolution.
