A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE STATE OF FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION PUBLIC
TRANSPORTATION JOINT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
(FIN. PROJ. NO. 236686-1-94-01) FOR THE DESIGN OF
PROPOSED PARALLEL RUNWAY AT THE ST. LUClE COUNTY
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND AUTHORIZING THE
CHAIRPERSON TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND
FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY AI-rORNEY TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM
AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, FLorida, has
made the foLtowin§ determinations:
1. The FJorida Department of Transportation has awarded the County fundin~
for the design of Proposed ParaLLeL Runway at the St. Lucie County International
Airport (Fin. Proj. No. 236686-1-94-01).
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the PubLic
Transportation Joint Participation Asreement with the State of FLorida Department of
PubLic Transportation for the above-referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
'.St. Lude County, FLorida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the PubLic Transportation Joint
Participation Asreement with the State of FLorida (Fin. Proj. No. 236686-1-94-01) to
provide fundin8 for the desisn of Proposed ParaLLeL Runway at the St. Lucie County
International Airport.
2. The Board hereby authorizes the Chairperson to execute the above-
referenced a~reement and further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the
a~reement by approvin~ it as to form and correctness.
After motion and second, the vote on this resolution was as follows:
