RESOLUTION NO. 04-161
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE STATE OF FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION PUBLIC
TRANSPORTATION LOCALLY FUNDED AGREEMENT (FM.
NO. 230262-5-52-01) FOR AESTHETIC ENHANCEMENTS TO
THE SHARED USE PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE AT ST. LUCIE
COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS AND AUTHORIZING THE
CHAIRPERSON TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND
FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM
AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, FLorida, has
made the foL[owin8 determinations:
1. The Board desires the FLorida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to
make certain improvements in connection with Financial Manasement (FM) No.
230262-5-52-01 for bridse aesthetic enhancements to the shared use pedestrian
bridse at the St. Lucie County Fairsrounds.
2. The Board is wilLin8 to provide fundin8 for such additional improvements
to the above-referenced project.
3. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the Public
Transportation Locally Funded Asreement with the State of FLorida Department of
Public Transportation for the above-referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the Locally Funded Asreement
with the State of Florida (FM No. 230262-5-52-01) to provide County lundin8 for
certain improvements in connection with Financial Manasement (FM) No. 230262-5-
52-01 for bridse aesthetic enhancements to the shared use pedestrian bridse at the
St. Lucie County Fairsrounds.
2. The Board hereby authorizes the Chairperson to execute the above-
referenced asreement and further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the
asreement by approvin8 it as to form and correctness.
After motion and second, the vote on this resolution was as follows:
