REVELS LANE1 MUN];CIPAL SERV]:CE5 BENEF];T UN]:T

EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, on August 21, 2001, pursuant to Chapter 1-13.5 of the St. Lucie
County Code of Ordinances and Compiled Laws (the "Code"), the Board of County
Commissioners for St. Lucie County (the "Board") adopted Resolution No. 01-189 which
created the Revels Lone1 Municipal Services Benefit Unit (the "Revels Lane1 MSBU")
to fund the cost of o project to provide potable water improvements to properties
within the boundaries of the Revels Lane1 MSI3U in unincorporated St. Lucie County,
Florida (the "Project"), as shown on the attached Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, on November 5, 2002, the Board adopted Resolution No. 02-257
and thereby, (1) adopted the Preliminary Assessment Roll for the Revels Lane1 MSBU
which was based on the estimated costs for the Project, (2) authorized the levy of a
special non-ad valorem assessment (the "Special Assessment") within the Revels Lane1
MSBU in the amount set forth in the Preliminary Assessment Roll, and, (3) authorized
the collection of the Special Assessment by the uniform method of collection
pursuant to Chapter 197, Florida Statutes, beginning with the tax bill for 2003 for a
period of 15 years; and
WHEREAS, on December 17, 2002 pursuant to Section 197.3632, Florida
Statutes, the Board adopted Resolution No. 02-276 which stated the Board's intent
to use the uniform method of collecting the Special Assessments levied by the Revels
Lane1 MSBU; and
WHEREAS, on April 6, 2004, the Board adopted Resolution No. 04-115 to
expand the boundaries of the Revels Lane1 MSBU and to approve a revised preliminam/
assessment roll; and

WHEREAS, on August 10, 2004, the Board reviewed the final costs for the
completed Project and determined that the final costs are lower than the estimated
costs as set forth in the Preliminary Assessment Roll and therefore the Special
Assessments should be credited in accordance with Section Z-23.5-7 of the Code as
set forth in the Final Assessment Roll (Exhibit "B").
NOW, THEREFORE, BE ];T RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
for St. Lucia County, Florida, as follows:
Section 1: The Final Assessment Roll for the Revels Lane1 MSBU (Exhibit "B")
is hereby approved and confirmed and the Final Assessment Roll is substituted for
the Preliminary Assessment Roll in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 1-13.5-7
of the Code to reflect the credits for the final Project costs.
Section Z: Except for the substitution of the Final Assessment Roll for the
Preliminary Assessment Roll, all of the findings, determinations, and actions made or
taken by the Board pursuant to Resolutions Nos. 01-IBC), 02-257, 02-276 and 04-:[15,
including but not limited to the collection of the Special Assessments by the uniform
method beginning with the tax bill for 2003 for a period of :~5 years, shall remain in
full force and effect and apply equally to the Final Assessment Roll.
Section 3: This Resolution shall be effective upon adoption.
