OF ST. LUCTE COUNTY EXTEND'rNH THE CURFEW
'rMPOSED BY THE COUNTY ADM'rN'rSTRATOR
(HURR'I'CANE FRANCES)
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has made the following
determinations:
The St. Lucie County Public Safety Director declared a state of emergency
on September :1, 2004, at 4:00 p.m. due to Hurricane Frances and imposed a curfew in
unincorporated St. Lucie County effective September 3, 2004 from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
which curfew has been modified by the County Administrator to :12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
effective September 9, 2004 at 8:00 p.m.
2. The impact of Hurricane Frances has placed St. Lucie County in a state of
emergency, exposing the citizens thereof to danger to life and property.
3. Such curfew is extended through September :15, 2004, at 6:00 a.m. unless
sooner rescinded by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County or the
Sheriff.
