A RESOLU'I'ZON OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMM'rSSZONERS
OF ST. LUCZE COUNTY
EXTEND'I'NG THE CURFEW 'rMPOSEb BY THE SHER'rFF
(HURRTCANE FRANCES)
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has made the following
determinations:
1. The St. Lucie County Sheriff declared a state of emergency on September
3, 2004, at 8:00 p.m. due to Hurricane Frances and imposed a curfew in unincorporated St.
Lucie County from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. which curfew has been modified by the Sheriff to
12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
2. The effect of Hurricane Frances has placed St. Lucie County in a state of
emergency, exposing the citizens thereof to danger to life and property.
3. Such curfew is extended through September 15, 2004, at 6:00 a.m. unless
sooner rescinded by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County or the
Sheriff.
