A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMM:Z55ZONER5
OF ST. LUC:ZE COUNTY
EXTENbZNG THE CURFEW ZMPOSEb BY THE 5HERZFF
(HURR'rCANE FRANCES)
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has made the following
determinations:
1. The St. Lucie County Sheriff declared o state of emergency on September
3, 2004, at 8:00 p.m. due to Hurricane Frances and imposed a curfew in unincorporated St.
Lucie County from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. which curfew has been modified by the Sheriff to
12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
2. The effect of Hurricane Frances has placed St. Lucie County in a state of
emergency, exposing the citizens thereof to danger to life and property.
3. Such curfew is extended through September 15, 2004, at 6:00 a.m. unless
sooner rescinded by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County or the
Sheriff.
