RESOLUTION NO. 04-337
WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the budget for the S1. Lucie County Board of County
Commissioners, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption have become available in the Form of a
Donation of $250,000 from Dr. Shamsher Singh to assist S1. Lucie County's low-income elderly residents
affected by Hurricane Frances.
Upon discussion with the Attorney, we will only need to submit the Resolution with the new dollar amount to
the Attorney Office and not the BOCC. Due to a scrivener error, the amount of $250,000 should be $252,500
to include the additional donation accepted by the Board.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the S1. Lucie County Board of County
Commissioners to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of S1. Lucie County, Florida,
in meeting assembled this 21 st day of September, 2004, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes,
such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2003-2004, and the budget for the S1. Lucie County
Board of County Commissioners is hereby amended as follows:
