RESOLUTION NO. 04-350
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF ST.
LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE COMMISSION CHAIR TO
EXECUTE AND FILE A JOINT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT WITH THE
FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, DISTRICT 4, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $154,420 FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF A ZONE TRANSIT
ROUTE IN PORT ST. LUCIE.
WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Transportation, District 4, and the Board
of County Commissioners of 81. Lucie County, Florida, desire to participate jointly to
implement a grant to provide for a service development plan.
WHEREAS, a zone transit route will benefit the residents, businesses and visitors
in the County.
WHEREAS, public transportation is vital to the quality of life and economic
well-being of the citizens of St. Lucie County, Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of 81. Lucie County, Florida:
1. That the Chair of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners is
hereby authorized to execute and file a Joint Participation Agreement with
the Florida Department of Transportation, District 4, in the amount of One
Hundred Fifty-four Thousand Four Hundred Twenty Dollars ($154,420).
2.. Effective date: This Resolution shall become effective upon its adoption.
After motion and second, the vote on this resolution was as follows
