RESOLUTION NO. 03-324
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING MULTI-WAY
(4 WAY) STOPS AT THE INTERSECTIONS OF
BARTOW STREET WITH SILVER OAK DRIVE,
MYRTLE DRIVE, SUNSET BOULEVARD AND
BALSAM DRIVE IN ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of S1. Lucie County, Florida, has made
the following determinations,
1. Section 316.008 (1) (a), Florida Statutes, authorizes the Board to designate any
intersection under its jurisdiction as a stop intersection.
2. The intersections of Bartow with Silver Oak Drive, Myrtle Drive, Sunset Boulevard
and Balsam Drive are under S1. Lucie County's Jurisdiction.
3. Due to the increase in Traffic at these intersections, the Board of County
Commissioners of S1. Lucie County has determined that multi-way (4 way) stops be designated
at the intersections of Bartow Street with Silver Oak Drive, Myrtle Drive, Sunset Boulevard and
Balsam Drive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County of S1. Lucie County
Commissioners of S1. Lucie County:
1. The intersections of Bartow Street with Silver Oak Drive, Myrtle Drive, Sunset
Boulevard and Balsam Drive are hereby designated as a multi-way (4 way) stop.
2. The S1. Lucie County Road and Bridge Manager is hereby directed to erect stop
signs at the intersections of Bartow Street with Silver Oak Drive, Myrtle Drive, Sunset Boulevard
and Balsam Drive.
3. The County Administrator is hereby directed to provide copies of this resolution to the
Sheriff of S1. Lucie County, and the S1. Lucie County Road and Bridge Manager.
