A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR AN EXTENSION OF
A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW THE
OPERATION OF A SELF-STORAGE FACILITY FOR
HOUSEHOLD GOODS IN THE CG (COMMERCIAL,
GENERAL) ZONING DISTRICT AND MAJOR SITE
PLAN APPROVAL FOR THE PROJECT KNOWN AS
RIVERVIEW OIL COMPANY FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY
IN ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, based on the
testimony and evidence, including but not limited to the staff report, has made the following
determinations:
1. April 21, 1998, the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners granted, through
Resolution 98-088, a Site Plan/Conditional Use Permit to allow the operation of a self-
storage facility for household goods in the CG (Commercial, General) Zoning District for
property located on the south side of Indrio Road, approximately 200 feet west of Kings
Highway and more particularly described in Part C below.
2. The developer of Riverview Oil Company has requested that the Site Plan/Conditional Use
Permit granted through Resolution 98-088, be extended for a period of 12 additional months
from its date of scheduled expiration, April 21,2000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida:
A. Pursuant to Section 11.02.06(B)(1) of the St. Lucie County Land Development Code, the
Site Plan/Conditional Use Permit, approved through Resolution 98-088, is hereby extended
for a period of 12 additional months from its date of scheduled expiration, April 21, 2000,
with the new expiration date being April 21, 2001:
B. All terms and conditions of Resolution 98-088, Parts Band G excluded, shall remain in full
force and effect.
C. The property on which this Site Plan/Conditional Use Permit is being granted is described
as follows:
THE EAST 956.06 FEET OF THE SOUTH 200.00 OF THE NORTH 220.00 FEET OF THE
NORTHEAST 1/4 OF THE SOUTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 14, TOWNSHIP 34 SOUTH, RANGE
39 EAST, LESS THE EAST 480.00 FEET THEREOF, SAID PARCEL BEING MORE

SAID LANDS LYING AND BEING IN ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
SAID PARCEL CONTAINS 2.18 ACRES, MORE OR LESS.

D. This Site Plan/Conditional Use Permit extension shall expire on April 21 ,2001, unless a
Building Permit/Zoning Compliance Certificate is obtained in accordance with Section
11.02.06(B)(3), St. Lucie County Land Development Code.
E. The Certificate of Capacity granted by the Community Development Director on April 21 ,
1998, shall remain valid for the period of this Site Plan/Conditional Use Permit approval.
F. The St. Lucie County Community Development Director is hereby authorized and directed
to cause the notation of this resolution to be made on the Official Zoning Map of St. Lucie
County, Florida, and to make notation of reference to the date of adoption of this
resolution.
