A RESOLUTION DENYING A PETITION TO DEFINE A CLASS "A'
MOBILE HOME AS A SINGLE-FAMILY DETACHED DWELLING
UNIT IN THE RS-4 (RESIDENTIAL, SINGLE-FAMILY - 4
DU/ACRE) ZONING DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St Lucie County, Florida, based on the
testimony and evidence, including but not limited to the staff report, has made the following
determinations:
1. Richard and Mary Pawlus presented a petition to Define a 27 -foot by 65-foot Palm
Harbor Class "A" Mobile Home as a Detached Single-Family Dwelling Unit in the RS-4
(Residential, Single-Family - 4 du/acre) Zoning District for the property described
below,
2. On February 15, 2005, this Board held a public hearing on the petition, after publishing
a notice of such hearing and notifying by mail all owners of property within 500 feet of
the subject property,
3, The Class "A" Mobile Home was determined to not be consistent with all elements of
the St. Lucie County Comprehensive Plan and has not satisfied the standards of
review set forth in Section 11 ,05.02(D) of the St Lucie County Land Development
Code,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St Lucie
County, Florida:
A The SI. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners has determined that the request of
Richard and Mary Pawlus to Define a 27 -foot by 65-foot Palm Harbor Class "A" Mobile Home as a
Detached Single-Family Dwelling Unit to be located on that property described as follows:
SAN LUCIE PLAZA SID-UNIT ONE- BLK56 N Yo OF LOT 10 AND ALL LOT 11. (TAX ID#: 1428-
702-1221-000/4)
(Location:
2823 Iroquois Avenue, Ft. Pierce, FL)
is not consistent with the requirements of Section 11,05,02(D) of the St. Lucie County Land
Development Code, and is hereby denied. The General Location Map and Area Subject to the
Class "A" Mobile Home Permit application are attached as Exhibit "A",
