A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE STATE OF FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION LOCALLY FUNDED
AGREEMENT (STATE FM NO. 230296-1-52-01) FOR THE
INDIAN RIVER LAGOON TRACE SHARED-USE PATH
ALONG SR A1 A AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRPERSON
TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE
THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND
CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has
made the following determinations:
1. The Florida Department of Transportation has awarded the County funding for
the Indian River Lagoon Trace Shared-Use Path along State Road AlA (State FM No.
230296-1-52-01).
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the Locally Funded
Agreement with the State of Florida Department of Transportation for the above-
referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the Locally Funded Agreement with the
State of Florida (State FM No. 230296-1-52-01) to provide funding for the Indian River
Lagoon Trace,Shared-Use Path along State Road Ala.
2. The Board hereby authorizes the Chairperson to execute the above-referenced
agreement and further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by
approving it as to form and correctness.
After motion and second, the vote on Resolution 05-262 was as follows:
