RESOLUTION NO. 05-296
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO
92-07; CONTRACTOR CATEGORIES FOR
PURPOSES OF ISSUANCE OF CONTRACTOR
CERTIFICATES OF COMPETENCY; BY ADDlL~G
SIDING, WINDOWS AND DOORS
CONTRACTOR, METAL BUILDINGS
CONTRACTOR AND HUillllCANE
PROTECTION CONTRACTOR.
WHEREAS, on April 28, 1992 the Board of County Commissioners for St. Lucie County,
Florida (the "Board"), adopted Resolution No, 92-07 which established the contractor categories for
purposes of issuance of contractor certificates of competency; and
WHEREAS, the St. Lucie County Board of Examiners of Contractors has recommended to the
Board of county Commissioners for S1. Lucie County, Florida to amend the issuance of contractor
certificates of competency by adding Siding, Windows and Doors Contractor, Metal Buildings Contractor
and Hurricane Protection Contractor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St.
Lucie County, Florida that Resolution No. 92-07 is hereby amended to read as follows:
A. Siding, Windows and Doors Contractor is added to St. Lucie County Contractor
Classifications Exhibit "A" Division II, Specialty Contractors along with the Scope of
Services for Contractors.
B. Metal Buildings Contractor is added to St. Lucie County Contractor Classifications Exhibit
"A" Division II, Specialty Contractors along with the Scope of Services for Contractors.
C. Hurricane Protection Contractor is added to St. Lucie County Contractor Classifications
Exhibit "A" Division II, Specialty Contractors along with the Scope of Services for
Contractors,
D. This Resolution shall take effect on August 1, 2005.
After motion and second, the vote on this resolution was as follows:
