RESOLUTION NO. 05-302
A RESOLUTION REDUCING ST. LUCIE
COUNTY PLAN AMENDMENT APPLICATION
FEES FROM $115,015 TO $13,200 FOR THE
ADAMS RANCH RURAL LAND
STEWARDSHIP PILOT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, has made the following determinations:
1. Family Lands Remembered, LLLP, submitted an application to st.
Lucie County to create a Rural Lands Stewardship Area (RLSA) Program for
St. Lucie County, including as a pilot program the Adams Ranch Stewardship.
2. As part of the RLSA application, the Comprehensive Plan Text
Amendment, Future Land Use Map (FLUM) Amendment, and the Zoning
Ordinance Text Amendment specific applications were filed with St. Lucie
County.
3. The properties proposed to be included in the Adams Ranch
Stewardship RLSA Program consisted of approximately 22,383 acres.
4. The standard application fees for a Future Land Use Map
Amendment are not designed for such large areas, and therefore, the
applications were submitted with a request that the fees for the Future Land
Use Map Application be adjusted.
5. On June 28, 2005, the Board considered the formal request for a
reduction in the fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, that this Board does hereby
approve reducing the st. Lucie County Plan Amendment Application Fees
from $115,015 to $13,200 for the Adams Ranch Rural Land Stewardship Pilot
Project.
After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows:
