HomeMy WebLinkAbout05-330 RESOLUTION NO. 05-330 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A TENTATIVE MILLAGE RATE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2005-2006 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following determinations: 1. On September 15, 2005, after TRIM notices were mailed to all property owners pursuant to Section 200.069, Florida Statutes, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing to consider adopting the tentative millage for fiscal year 2005-2006 and adopted the tentative millage. 2. On September 15, 2005, after TRIM notices were mailed to all property owners pursuant to Section 200.069, Florida Statutes, the St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District, a dependent taxing district of this Board, held a public hearing to consider adopting the tentative millage for fiscal year 2005-2006 and adopted the tentative millage. 3. On September 15, 2005, after TRIM notices were mailed to all property owners pursuant to Section 200.069, Florida Statutes, the St. Lucie County Erosion District, a dependent taxing district of the Board, held a public hearing to consider adopting the tentative millage for fiscal year 2005-2006 and adopted the tentative millage. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida: A. The proposed aggregate millage rate to be levied is greater than the roll- back rate as computed pursuant to Section 200.065(1), Florida Statutes by 18.45%.
