RESOLUTION NO. 05-329
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY
ADMINISTRATOR OR HIS DESIGNEE TO
EXECUTE THE NON-EXCLUSIVE
COMMERCIAL SOLID WASTE AND
RECYCLABLE MATERIALS COLLECTION
SERVICE AGREEMENTS IN ST. LUCIE
COUNTY, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made
the following determinations:
1. Due to the explosive growth in St. Lucie County, the Solid Waste Division is
experiencing numerous requests for Non-Exclusive Agreements.
2. This Board believes it is in the best interest of the health, safety and public
welfare of the citizens of St. Lucie County to authorize the County Administrator or his
designee to execute the Non-Exclusive Commercial Solid Waste and Recyclable Materials
Collection Service Agreements.
3. Exclusive Agreements will still require Board approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St.
Lucie County, Florida:
1. This Board does hereby authorize the County Administrator or his designee to
execute the Non-Exclusive Commercial Solid Waste and Recyclable Materials Collection
Service Agreements.
2. Exclusive Agreements will still require Board approval.
After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows:
