A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A
QUITCLAIM DEED
ON BEHALF OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, that:
The foregoing Quitclaim Deed is duly accepted on behalf of St. Lucie County this 7th
day of February, 2006.

QUITCLAIM DEED
THIS INDENTURE made this 11th day of January, 2006, between the SOUTH
FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT, a public corporation of the State of
Florida, with its principal office at 3301 Gun Club Road, West Palm Beach, Florida
33406, and whose mailing address is Post Office Box 24680, West Palm Beach, Florida
33416-4680, Palm Beach County, hereinafter referred to as Grantor, and ST. LUCIE
COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, whose mailing address is 2300
Virginia Avenue, Fort Pierce, Florida 34982, St. Lucie County, hereinafter referred to as
Grantee.
WITNESSETH:
That said Grantor, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00) and
other valuable considerations in hand paid by the said Grantee, the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, by these presents does remise, release and quitclaim unto the
said Grantee, their successors and assigns forever, the following described land, situate,
lying and being in St. Lucie County, State of Florida, to wit:
See Exhibit "A" attaehed hereto and made a part hereof
Pursuant to Section 270.11 Florida Statutes, the Grantor reserves for itself and its
successors an undivided three-fourths interest in, and title in and to an undivided three-
fourths interest in, all phosphate, minerals, and metals that are or may be in, on, or under
the said land and an undivided one-half interest in all the petroleum that is or may be in,
on or under said land with the privilege to mine and develop the same.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same together with all and singular the
appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, and all the estate, right,
title, interest and claim whatsoever of the said Grantor, either in law or in equity, to the
only proper use, benefit and behoof of the said Grantee, their successors and assigns
forever.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the South Florida Water Management District has
caused these presents to be executed in its name and its official seal affixed hereto by its
Governing Board, acting by the Chairman of said Board and attested by its Clerk, at West
Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, State of Florida.
