RESOLUTION NO. 06-121
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE
APPLICATION FEE FOR VACATION AND
ABANDONMENT OF RIGHTS OF WAY AND
SUBDIVISION PLATS IN ST. LUCIE
COUNTY, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made
the following determinations:
1. Section 11.10.02 (C), St. Lucie County Land Development Code states that the
application fee for petitions to abandon plats or rights of way shall be determined in
accordance with Section 11.12.00.
2. Section 11.12.00 St. Lucie County Land Development Code states that fees may be
established by resolution of the Board of County Commissioners in order to cover the costs
of technical and administrative activities.
3. By Resolution No. 88-250, adopted August 23, 1988, the Board of County
Commissioners established the application fee for vacation and abandonment of rights of way
and subdivision plats at two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00).
4. It is necessary to amend the amount of the application fee to cover the costs of
technical and administrative activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St.
Lucie County, Florida:
1. This Board does hereby amend the application fee to be paid by the Petitioner, as
defined in Section 11.10.02, to five hundred dollars ($500.00). Said application fee shall be
payable at the time of application and is non-refundable.
2. The new application fee shall take effect on May 1, 2006.
