A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FORA 12-MONTH EXTENSION OF
A MAJOR SITE PLAN FOR THE PROJECT KNOWN AS TESORO
BEACH CLUB
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of SI. Lucie County, Florida, based on the
testimony and evidence, including, but not limited to, the staff report, has made the following
determinations:
1. On April 19, 2005, this Board, through Resolution No. 05-137, granted approval for the
Major Site Plan known as Tesoro Beach Club, which is a 100 unit condominium including
a 7,700 square foot beach club for property located on South Hutchinson Island - east
side of State Road A-1-A south of the County wastewater treatment plant and across from
the Pelican Point Subdivision.
2. The developer of Tesoro Beach Club has requested that the Major Site Plan granted
through Resolution No. 05-137, be extended for a period of 12 additional months from its
date of scheduled expiration, April 26, 2006.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida:
A. Pursuant to Section 11.02.06(B)(2) of the St. Lucie County Land Development Code, the
Major Site Plan, approved through Resolution No. 05-137 is hereby extended for a period of
12 additional months from its date of scheduled expiration, April 19, 2006, with the new
expiration date being April 19, 2007.
B. All terms and conditions of Resolution No. 05-137, shall remain in full force and effect.
C. The property on which this Major Site Plan extension is being granted is described as
follows:
PARCEL 1
BEING A TRACT OF LAND LYING IN SECTION 22, TOWNSHIP 36 SOUTH, RANGE 41
EAST, ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA; BOUNDED ON THE SOUTH BY A LINE
PARALLEL WITH AND 5,767.86 FEET NORTHERLY (MEASURED AT RIGHT ANGLES)
FROM THE SOUTH LINE OF SECTION 27, OF SAID TOWNSHIP AND RANGE; ON THE
NORTH BY A LINE PARALLEL WITH AND 6,323.74 FEET NORTHERLY (MEASURED AT
RIGHT ANGLES) FROM THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID SECTION 27; ON THE WEST BY
EAST RIGHT - OF - WAY LINE OF STATE ROAD A-1-A; AND ON THE EAST BY THE
WATERS OF THE ATLANTIC OCEAN.

SOUTH, RANGE 41 EAST, MEASURING 250 FEET ALONG THE ATLANTIC OCEAN.

This Major Site Plan extension shall expire on April 19, 2007, unle$ a building penn it is
secured prior to expiration date or an extension has been granted in accordance with
Section 11.02.06, St. Lucie County Land Development Code.
A Certificate of Capacity, a copy of which is attached to this resolution, was granted by
the Growth Management Director on June 7, 2006,shall remain valid for the period ofthis
Major Site Plan approval.
The St. Lucie County Growth Management Director is hereby authorized and directed to
cause the notation of this resolution to be made on the Official Zoning Map of St. Lucie
County, Florida, and to make notation of reference to the date of adoption of this
resolution.
