RESOLUTION NO. 06-242
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE VEHICLE PERMIT
PROGRAM FOR THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY INTERNATIONAL
AIRPORT AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of 81. Lucie County, Florida, has
made the following determinations:
1. 81. Lucie County owns and operates the 81. Lucie County International Airport
("Airport").
2. Pursuant to Chapter 1-2.3, Article II, 81. Lucie County Code of Ordinances
and Compiled Laws, the County has adopted certain regulations governing the movement
and parking of vehicles at the Airport.
3. In order to improve the safety and security of the Airport, it is appropriate to
adopt a vehicle permit program to further insure that vehicles using the taxiways and
runways at the Airport are safely operated.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Cornmissioners of
81. Lucie County, Florida:
1. This Board hereby approves and adopts the Vehicle Permit Program for the
81. Lucie County International Airport, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein as Exhibit "A"
2. This resolution shall take effect on the date of adoption,
3. This Board directs the Airport Director to provide a copy of this resolution to
all fixed base operators at the Airport.
After motion and second the vote on this resolution was as follows:

PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED this 15th day of August, 2006.
