4 A RESOLUTION GRANTING A CHANGE IN ZONING FROM
5 THE AR-1 (AGRICULTURAL, RESIDENTIAL - 1 DUlACRE)
6 ZONING DISTRICT TO THE TO THE RE-2 (RESIDENTIAL
7 ESTATE - 2 DUlACRE) ZONING DISTRICT OF CERTAIN
8 PROPERTY IN ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA.

11 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of SI. Lucie County, Florida, based
12 on the testimony and evidence, including but not limited to the staff report, has made
13 the following determinations:

15 1. Pat and Joyce Roaolino, have requested this change in zoning from the AR-1
16 (Agricultural, Residential- 1 du/acre) Zoning District to the RE-2 (Residential,
17 Estate - 2 du/acre) Zoning District for property depicted on the attached maps
18 as "Exhibit A" and described below,

20 2. On November 16, 2006, the SI. Lucie County Planning and Zoning
21 Commission held a public hearing on the petition, after publishing a notice of
22 such hearing in a local daily newspaper of general circulation and notifying by
23 mail all property owners within 500 feet of the subject property, and has
24 recommended that the Board of County Commissioners approve a change in
25 zoning from the AR-1 (Agricultural, Residential - 1du/acre) Zoning District to
26 the RE-2 (Residential, Estate - 2 du/acre) Zoning District.

28 3, On December 19, 2006, the SI. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners
29 held a public hearing on the petition, after publishing a notice of such hearing in
30 a local daily newspaper of general circulation and notifying by mail all property
31 owners within 500 feet of the subject property, and approved the requested
32 change in zoning for the property described in Part A below;
33
34 4. The proposed project is consistent with the general purpose, goals, objectives
35 and standards of the St. Lucie County Land Development Code, the St. Lucie
36 County Comprehensive Plan, and the Code of Ordinances of SI. Lucie County.

38 5. The proposed change in zoning has satisfied the requirements of Section
39 11,06.03 of the SI. Lucie County Land Development Code and is
40 consistent with the goals, objectives, and policies of the SI. Lucie
41 County Comprehensive Plan,

43 6. The proposed change in zoning is consistent with the existing and the
44 proposed use of property in the surrounding area.

46 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
47 SI. Lucie County, Florida:

SOUTHEAST V. OF THE SOUTHEAST V. OF SECTION 9, TOWNSHIP 36
SOUTH, RANGE 40 EAST, ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA. LESS THE
WEST 15 FEET THEREOF,
CONTAINING 4.8 ACRES OF LAND MORE OR LESS.
Location: 6250 Citrus Avenue, East side of Citrus Avenue, approximately
135 feet south of Seminole Drive,
owned by Pat and Joyce Rogolino is hereby approved,
B. The 81. Lucie County Growth Management Director is hereby authorized to cause
the change to be made on the Official Zoning Map of SI. Lucie County, Florida, and
to make notation of reference to the date of adoption of this resolution,
