RESOLUTION NO. 07-039
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE STATE OF FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION EMERGENCY JOINT
PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT FOR THE COUNTY ROADS
DAMAGED BY HURRICANE WILMA AND AUTHORIZING THE
CHAIRPERSON TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM AND
CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the
following determinations:
1. The Florida Department of Transportation has awarded the County funding forthe repairs
to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) functionally classified county road(s) damaged by
Hurricane Wilma in St. Lucie County.
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the Public Transportation Joint
Participation Agreement with the State of Florida Department of Public Transportation for the above-
referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Comrnissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the Public Transportation Joint Participation
Agreement with the State of Fiorida to provide funding for the repairs to the Federal Highway
Administration (FHWA) functionally classified county road(s) damaged by Hurricane Wilma in St.
Lucie County.
2. The Board hereby authorizes the Chairperson to execute the above-referenced
agreement and further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the agreement by approving it as
to form and correctness.
After motion and second, the vote on Resolution 07-039 was as follows:
