HomeMy WebLinkAbout07-277 RESOLUTION NO. 07-277 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A FINAL MILLAGE RATE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2007-2008 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following determinations: 1. On September 6, 2007, after TRIM notices were mailed to all property owners pursuant to Section 200.069, Florida Statutes, the Board (sitting as the Board of County Commissioners, the Mosquito Control Board, and Erosion Control Board) held a public hearing to consider adopting the Tentative Millage for fiscal year 2007-2008 and adopted the Tentative Millage. 2. On September 13,2007, after notice published in the Tribune on September 9,2007, the Board held a Public Hearing and adopted the Final Millage for fiscal year 2007-2008. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida: A. The proposed aggregate millage rate to be levied is lower than the roll-back rate as computed pursuant to Section 200.065(1), Florida Statutes by 9.88%.
