A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONER OF ST.
LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE COMMISSION CHAIR TO
EXECUTE AND FILE A SUPPLEMENTAL JOINT PARTICIPATION
AGREEMENT WITH THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTAION
DISTRICT 4 FOR THE ACQUISITION, DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF
THE AVENUE D INTERMODAL TRANSIT FACILITY
WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Transportation, District 4, and the Board of
County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, desire to participate jointly to implement
a grant to provide for a service development plan.
WHEREAS, an Intermodal transfer facility will benefit the residents, businesses and
visitors in St. Lucie County.
WHEREAS, public transportation is vital to the quality of life and economical well-
being of the citizens of St. Lucie County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St.
Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners is hereby authorized to
execute and file a Joint Participation Agreement with the Florida Department of
Transportation to include "designing" concept be included of the Intermodal transfer
facility.
2. This resolution shall become effective upon its adoption.
