RESOLUTION NO. 07-392
A RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISIONS TO THE
AIRPORT LAYOUT PLAN FOR THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, AUTHORIZING THE
SUBMISSION OF THE REVISED AIRPORT LAYOUT
PLAN TO THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION
AND THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has
made the following detenninations:
1. In August of 2002, the County completed the Airport Master Plan for the St.
Lucie County International Airport, including the Airport Layout Plan which graphically
represents the existing and future developments identified in the Airport Master Plan, and
submitted it to the F ederal Aviation Administration ("FAA") and the Florida Department of
Transportation ("FDOT") for review and approval.
2. On August 28, 2007, the Board adopted Resolution No. 07-727 which approved
an updated Airport Layout Plan and authorized submission to the FAA and the FDOT for review
and approval.
3. The FAA has recommended certain reVlSlon to the ALP drawings to more
accurately reflect the current and planned uses of the conservation areas at the Airport.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. This Board hereby approves and adopts the revisions Airport Layout Plan for the
St. Lucie County International Airport, incorporated herein by reference.
2. This Board directs the County Administrator to submit the revised Airport Layout
Plan to the Federal Aviation Administration and the Florida Department of Transportation for
review and approval.
