RESOLUTION NO. 08-050
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FLORIDA PORTS COUNCIL
AND FLORDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION GRANT
(# 424248-1-94-01) FOR TAYLOR CREEK RESTORATION -
SPOIL SITE EV ALUATION AND AUTHORIZING THE
CHAIRPERSON TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND
FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY ATTORNEY TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING IT AS TO FORM
AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has
made the following determinations:
1. The Florida Ports Council and Florida Department of Transportation have
awarded the County funding for Taylor Creek Restoration - Spoil Site Evaluation
(#424248-1-94-01).
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the Joint Participation
Agreement with the Florida Ports Council and Florida Department of Transportation for
the above-referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
St. Lucie County, Florida:
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the Joint Participation Agreement
with the Florida Ports Council and Florida Department of Transportation (#424248-1-94-
01) to provide funding for Taylor Creek Restoration - Spoil Site Evaluation.
2. The Board hereby authorizes and Chairperson to execute the above-
referenced agreement and further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the
agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
After motion and second, the vote on Resolution 08-050 was as follows:
