3 A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 98-198 BY
4 AMENDING THE VARIOUS FEE AND CHARGES FOR
5 APPLICATIONS UNDER THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY LAND
6 DEVELOPMENT CODE, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE

8 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida has
9 made the following determinations:

11 WHEREAS, section 163.3201, Florida Statutes, provides for the adoption and
12 enforcement of regulations on development activities based upon the
13 Comprehensive Plan for St. Lucie County.
14
15 WHEREAS, on August 1 1990, this Board enacted the St. Lucie County Land
16 Development Code to further implement the Comprehensive Plan for St. Lucie
17 County which calls for the regulation of land development activities.

19 WHEREAS, Section 125.01, Florida Statutes, and the St. Lucie County Land
20 Development Code authorize this Board to establish a schedule of fees in order
21 to cover the costs of technical and administrative activities required pursuant to
22 the St. Lucie County Land Development Code.

24 WHEREAS, Section 11.12.00 of the St. Lucie County Land Development Code
25 calls for the establishment of a schedule of fees by the Board of County
26 Commissioners.

28 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners last amended the schedule of
29 fees for technical and administrative activities under the Land Development Code
30 in 1998 pursuant to Resolution No. 98-198.

32 WHEREAS, it is appropriate to further amend the schedule of fees for technical
33 and administrative activities to reflect current actual costs.

35 THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners for St.
36 Lucie County Florida.

38 The "Schedule of Fees and Charges" for land use applications and other
39 petitions and applications filed pursuant to the requirements to the St. Lucie Land
40 Development Code attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A" is
41 hereby adopted.

43 The "St. Lucie County General Permit Fees and Charges Schedule" set forth in
44 Resolution No. 98-198 is hereby repealed and replaced with the "Schedule of
45 Fees and Charges" attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
