RESOLUTION NO. 08-086
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 04-020 TO
AMEND THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL
ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the
following determinations:
1. On March 16,2004, the Board of County Commissioners approved Resolution No. 04-
020 which reestablished the Environmental Advisory Committee and set its membership; and,
2. One of the members of the Environmental Advisory Committee is a representative
of the St. Lucie County chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society; and,
3. The Native Plant Society has informed the Environmental Advisory Committee that
it can no longer send a representative to the Committee meetings; and,
4. On December 11, 2007, the Environmental Advisory Committee voted to recommend
to the Board of County Commissioners that the representative from the Native Plant Society be
replaced by a representative from the Audubon Society.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie
County, Florida:
1. Section 3(b)(2) of Resolution No. 04-020 shall be amended as follows:
2.) St. Lucie County chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society. St. Lucie County chapter of
the Audubon Society or local chapter of other national environmental organization.
2. The remaining terms of the Resolution shall remain the same.
