A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTYCOMMISSIONERS OF
ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA, GRANTING A 12-MONTH EXTENSION
OF THE PRELIMINARY PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT SITEPLAN
APPROVAL FOR PLANTATION ACRES CONSISTING OF 46 SINGLE-
FAMILY UNITS ON 46.28 ACRES.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, based
on the testimony and evidence, including but not limited to the staff report, has made
the following determinations:
1. On April 18, 2006, this Board, through Resolution 06-052, granted approval of a
Change in Zoning from the AG-1 (Agricultural 1 Dwelling Unit per Acre) Zoning
District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development - Plantation Acres) Zoning District
and Preliminary Planned Unit Development for the project known as Plantation
Acres - Planned Unit Development for a 46 single-family residential subdivision
located on 46.28 acres on property on the west side of Koblegard Road,
approximately 1/2 mile north of Indrio Road, described in Part A below.
2. Following the recordation of Resolution 06-052, staff determined that the approval
expiration date noted in item 'c' was incorrect.
3. On April 8, 2008, this Board, through Resolution 08-089, granted approval of a
scrivener's error correcting the expiration date of the Preliminary Planned Unit
Development Site Plan to read April 18, 2008.
4. The Applicant has requested that a 12-month extension of the Preliminary PUD
approved through Resolution No. 06-052, be extended for a period of 12
additional months from its date of scheduled expiration of April 18, 2008.
5. On April 15, 2008, the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners held a
public hearing; of which due notice was published and notice mailed to all property
owners within 500 feet at least 10 days prior to the hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St.
Lucie County, Florida:

Pursuant to Section 11.02.06(B)(3) of the St. Lucie County Land Development
Code, the Preliminary PUD approved through Resolution No. 06-052, is hereby
extended for a period of 12 additional months from its scheduled date of expiration,
April 18, 2008, with the new expiration date being April 18, 2009, for the property
described as follows:

THE EAST 3/4 OF THE SE 1/4 OF THE SE 1/4 OF SECTION 8,
TOWNSHIP 34 SOUTH, RANGE 39 EAST, LESS RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR
FORT PIERCE FARMS WATER CONTROL DISTRICT OVER THE
SOUTH 40 FEET AND LESS ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY OVER THE EAST
30 FEET AND THE NORTH 25 FEET.
PARCEL II
THE SOUTH 1/2 OF THE SW 1/4 OF THE SW 1/4 OF SECTION 9,
TOWHNSHIP 34 SOUTH, RANGE 39 EAST, LESS ROAD RIGHT-OF-
WAY FOR FORT PIERCE WATER CONTROL DISTRICT CANAL OVER
THE SOUTH 45 FEET AND LESS ROAD RIGHT -OF-WAY OVER THE
EAST 30 FEET. ALL LYING AND BEING IN ST. LUCIE COUNTY,
FLORIDA.
(Location: West side of Koblegard Road, approximately 0.5 miles north of
Indrio Road)
All terms and conditions of Resolution No. 06-052 shall remain in full force and
effect.
This Preliminary PUD extension shall expire on April 18, 2009, unless Final PUD
approval is obtained or another extension has been granted in accordance with
Section 11.02.00, St. Lucie County Land Development Code.
The St. Lucie County Growth Management Director is hereby authorized and
directed to cause the notation of this resolution to be made on the Official Zoning
Map of St. Lucie County, Florida, and to make notation of reference to the date of
adoption of this resolution.
