RESOLUTION NO. 08-164
WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners budget
for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have becorne
available in the form of a grant from Major League Baseball Charity, Inc. - Baseball Tomorrow Fund
Program, ill the amount of $39,000 for baseball field construction and renovation at Martin LutherKing Jr.
~ Drearnland Pårk.
cOntribution from the School Board of St. Lucie County, in the amount of $175,000 for a traffic signal to
the entrance of Ft. Pierce Central High Scholl's new location on South 25th Street.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Sf. Lucie County,
Florida, in rneeting assembled this 6th day of May, 2008, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes,
that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2007-2008, and the County's budget is hereby
amended as follows:
