RESOLUTION NO. 08-100
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE STATE OF FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION PUBLIC
TRANSPORTATION JOINT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
(FIN. PROJ. NO. 424452-1-94-01) FOR SECURITY FENCING
AT THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND
AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRPERSON TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY
A TIORNEY TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT BY APPROVING
IT AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has
made the following determinations:
1. The Florida Department of Transportation has awarded the County funding
for Security Fencing at the St. Lucie County International Airport (Fin. Proj. No.
424452-1-94-01 ).
2. The Board should authorize and approve execution of the Public
Transportation Joint Participation Agreement with the State of Florida Department of
Public Transportation for the above-referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
St. Lucie County, Florida: .~.
1. The Board hereby accepts and approves the Public Transportation Joint
Participation Agreement with the State of Florida (Fin. Proj. No. 424452-1-94-01) to
provide funding for security fencing at the St. Lucie County International Airport.
2. The Board hereby authorizes the Chairperson to execute the above-
referenced agreement and further authorizes the County Attorney to execute the
agreement by approving it as to form and correctness.
After motion and second, the vote on Resolution 08-100 was as follows:
