RESOLUTION NO. 08-338
WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners budget
for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become
available from the Florida Department of Community Affairs through a grant award letter, in the amount of
$101,573 less $2,847 for State of Florida Communication Services. The total funding of $98,726 from the
Emergency Management Preparedness and Assistance Trust Fund is intended to enhance County it's
Emergency Management Program in the 2008-2009 fiscal year.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 25th day of November, 2008, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida
Statutes, that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2008-2009, and the County's budget
is hereby amended as follows:
