REVERSE COMMUT'E (J~ORC) AND NE1~J FREEDOtVI PROGRAM FUP~~~
WHEREAS, Federal law requires the designation, by the Governor, of ar~ eo~tity ~a ~-~cei~e
Federal Transit Administration (FTa) Job Access & Reverse Commute (JAR~) and N~w Freed~m
Program funds; and
WHEREAS, the designated recipient has the principal authority and r~sp~r~sobilifi~r for
administering the JARC and New Freedom funds; and

WHEREAS, it is appropriate for the designated recipient .of JARC and New Freedom
funds to be the same as the designated recipient for Sect~~a~ 5307 funds; a~d
WHEREAS, St. Lucie County, being the designated recipient for Section 5307 funds,
provides and coordinates transportation services for the County and is familiar with FTA
program oversight requirements.
