LUCIE COUNTY DENYING A REQUEST TO NOT PAVE THE INTERNAL ROAD OF THE PROPOSED HORSESHOE GROVE SUBDIVISION WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, based on the testimony and evidence, including but not limited to the staff report, has made the following determinations: Barol LLC petitioned for a 7-lot Minor Site Plan for the project known as "Horseshoe Grove" on 40.61 acres of land located along the western frontage of FFA Road approximately 3000 feet north of Orange Avenue in the AG-5 (Agricultural - 1 du/5 acres) Zoning District. 2. The applicant has requested that they not be required to pave the internal road, as depicted on the map attached to this Resolution as Exhibit "A." 3. On March 3, 2009, this Board held a public hearing after publishing a public notice of such hearing in the St. Lucie News Tribune at least 10 days prior to the hearing and notifying by mail all owners of property within 500 feet of the subject property at least 10 days prior to the hearing and adopted Resolution No. 09-010 denying the requested waiver. 4. On March 10, 2009, the Board voted unanimouslyto reconsiderthe adoption of Resolution No. 09-010 for the purpose of clarifying the Board's intent. 5. On June 16, 2009, this Board held a public hearing to reconsider the adoption of Resolution No. 09-010 after publishing and mailing notice. This Board voted unanimously to deny the request to waive the paving requirement for the internal road. 6. The County Engineer does not support the request to waive the requirement to pave the internal road of the proposed Horseshoe Grove subdivision. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA: A.
