A RESOLUTION OF THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FINDING THAT IT IS IN THE
PUBLIC'S BEST INTEREST TO AWARD THE 20Q9-2010
ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUG ABUSE TREATMENT FUND
GRANT TO THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY DRUG LAB PURSUANT
TO SECTION 893.165, FLORIDA STATUTES (2008) AND ST.
LUCIE COUNTY CODE AND COMPILED LAWS SECTION 1-7-
23.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 893.165, Florida Statutes (2008), the Board has
established an Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Trust Fund; and
WHEREAS, the St. Lucie County Drug Lab is a county alcohol and drug abuse
prevention, treatment or education program; and,
WHEREAS, the Board wishes to select the St. Lucie County Drug Lab as the recipient
of the Alcahol and Other Drug Abuse Trust Fund grant for 2009-2010.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida:
Section 1. The St. Lucie County Drug Lab is the recipient of the Alcohol and Other
Drug Abuse Trust Fund grant for 2009-2010.
Section 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption (the "Effective Date")
Section 3. ADOPTION. After motion and second, the vote on this Resolution
was as follows:
