A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY
ADMINISTRATOR OR HER DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE ANY AND
ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING AGREEMENTS,
ASSURANCES, REIMBURSEMENT INVOICES, WARRANTIES
AND OTHER DOCUMENTS, WHICH MAY BE REQUIRED
UNDER THE NEIGHBORHOOD STABILITZATION PROGRAM
(NSP) GRANT CONTRACT WITH THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT
OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made
the following determinations:
1. On August 11, 2009, the Board entered into a Neighborhood Stabilization Program
(NSP) Grant Contract with the Florida Department of Community Affairs to acquire, rehabilitate,
demolish and redevelop foreclosed and abandoned properties in order to stabilize
neighborhoods.
2. In order to insure the efficient and expedient delivery of services under the
Neighborhood Stabilization Program Grant Contract, it is appropriate to authorize the County
Administrator or her designee to sign all necessary documents related to the Grant Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA:
1. This Board designates the County Administrator or her designee as the staff
position to execute any and all subsequent documents necessary including agreements,
assurances, reimbursement invoices, warranties and other documents which may be required in
connection with the Neighborhood Stabilization Program Grant Contact with the Florida
Department of Community Affairs.
2. This resolution shall become effective on adoption.
After motion and second, the vote on this resolution was as follows:
