RESOLUTION NO. 10-089
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY
HOUSING ASSISTANCE PLAN FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2008
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, on January 23, 2008, the Board of County Commissioners adopted
Resolution No. 08-287 which adopted the St. Lucie County Housing Assistance Plan for the FY
2008 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Housing Program; and,
WHEREAS, on December 22, 2009, the Board of County Commissioners adopted
Resolution No. 09-364 which approved Amendment No. 1 to the Housing Assistance Plan for
the FY 2008 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Housing Program; and,
WHEREAS, the County desires to further amend the Housing Assistance Plan to provide
for award of construction contracts to the lowest bidder rather than to the bidder closest to the
cost estimate for the project; and,
WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Community Affairs, Community Development
Block Grant (CDBG) Section, has confirmed that the proposed amendments comply with the
CDBG Housing Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS, ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. The Board hereby adopts "Amendment II to the St. Lucie County FY 2008 Local
Housing Assistance Plan" for the CDBG Program, incorporated herein by reference.
2. The Board authorizes the County Administrator or her designee to coordinate the
implementation of Amendment II.
3. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this resolution are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
4. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
