WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners budget
for St. Lucie County, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption of the budget have become
available from the Division of Emergency Management through a grant award Modification To Agreement
letter for $24,999.26 to increase the funding of the Emergency Management Planning Assistance (EMPA)
grant in the 2009-2010 fiscal year.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a
resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, in meeting assembled this 9th day of March, 2010, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida
Statutes, that such funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2009-2010, and the County's budget
is hereby amended as follows:
