Section 16 (together with an extension of said road along the North
boundary of the West 1/2 of Section 17), Township 37 South, Range 38
East and lying within the West 1/2 of Section 9 and the East 1/2 of
Section 8 (togeU.er with an extension of Bl:tid road along the South bound-

16. Owners presently make use .of an existing canal (a portion
of which migh~ also be described as a road ditch) which extends from
the approxim::lte North 1/4 corner of said Section 16 and thence' runs
Northerly along the East side of said rOod and being partially situate
on the East 15 feet of the 60 foot road easement hereinbefore referred
to, to the Township line, and continues North, traversing Section 33,
Township 36 South, Range 38 East. and thereafter continues in a
generally Northeastedy d~rection. Owners likewlse make use of at:
existing canal which extends Westerly from the approximate North 1/4
corner of Section 4, Township 37 South, Range 38 East, and substantially
following the Township line, leads into that certain canal known a.s Canal
C-23.
