For value received, Burnup and Slms, Inc., a Florida corporation,
promise to pay to the order of L. M. Strickland and Gertrude Strickland,
his wife, of Ft. Pierce, Florida, the sum of Three Thousand Fifty-six
and 63/100 ($3,056.63) DoJlars with interest at the rate of Five (?~)
Per Cent per annum, payable in the follow~ng manner: Fifty ($50.00)
Dollars upon the first of each and every month hereafter until the full
principal sum, with intereat, has been paid. Said monthly payments
shall be applied first to the payment of interest on the llnpaict balance
and then to the payment of principal. The right to pay this note in
full on the unpaid balance at any time is reserved by the maker hereof.
If default of payment on this note occurs, same may be pldced in the
hands of an attorney at law for collection, in which event it is agreed
that a reasonable attorney's fee for making ~uch collection shall be
paid by the maker hereof and hereby severally waive demand, notice of
non-payment and protest of this note.
