THIS MORTGAGE DE.BD, Executed the
21st day of July, A.D.,
1961, by COMPBRB LOVBIBSS and BURKS ALDEN SMITH, herein~fter called
the Mortgagor, to ~. W. CARLTON, hereinafter c,lled the Mortgagee:

and '~ortgagee" include all the parties to
this instrument and the heirs, legal repre-
sentatives and assigns of.ind1vidval~, and
the successors and assigns of corporations;
and the tera ''note'' includes all the notes
herein described if more than one.>

That for good and valuable cons1derat10ns, and also in consider-
ation of the aggregate sum named in the promissory note of even date
herewith, hereinafter described, the Mortgagor hereby grants, bargains,
sells, aliens, remises, conveys and confirms unto the Mortgagee all
the certain land of which the Mortgagor is now, seized and in pos-
session situate in St. Lucip. County, P1orida, viz.:
All of the East half (Et> of Section 9, Township 37 South,
Range 38 East, excepting therefrom the South 30 feet there-
of and also excepting therefrom the following described
parcel, to-wit:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the East half (Et>
of said Section 9, run East 52 feet; thence run Southerly
in a straight line 5339.35 feet, more or less, to a point
in the South line of the East half (Et) of sa1j Section 9,
which point is 13 feet East of the Southwest corner of the
East half (E!) of said Section 9; thence run West 13 feet
to the Southwest corner of the East half (Et) of said Section
9; thence run North aiong the West line of the East half
(Et> of said Section 9 to the point of beginning.
Containing 323.39 acres, more or less.
And all of the East half (Et> of Section 4, Township 37 South,
Range 38 East, excepting therefrom the following described
parcel, to-wit:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Bast half (Et> of
said S~ction 4, run East 101.0 feet; thence run Southerly
in a straight line 5565.25 fee~, more or less, to a point
in the South line of the East half (Et) of said Section 4,
which point is 52 feet East of ~he Southwest corner of the
East half (El> of said Section. 4; thence run West 52 feet
to the Southwest corner of the. East half (El> of said Section
4; thence run North along the West line of the East half (Et>
of said Section 4 to the point of beginning.
Containing 338.78 acres, more or less.
