WHEREAS, the st. Lucie County Planning and Zoninq Co-.iasion, after
holding publio hearingj of which due notioe vas publiahed at lea.t ten
days prior to.said hearing and all property owner. within 300 feet were
notified by mail of said hearinq, has reoo..ended to the Board of County
Commissioners of St. Lu~i. County, that the hereinafter desoribed re-
quest for change in-.oning cla.sification be granted, and
WHEREAS, said Board of County Commdssioners held a public hearing
on said recommendation on the 2nd day of August, 1961, after fir.t
publishing ~ notice of said hearing in the Fort Pierce News Tribune on
the 14th day of July, 1961, said da~e being at least 15 days prior to
the date of said hearing,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of County Comaissioners
of St. Lucie County in meeting assembled this 2nd day of August, 1961,
as follows:
That the zoning of the following described property, to.,wit:
Beginning at the SE corner of the SWi of >>Wi of SWi, run
North 220 feet; thence run West 150 feet: thence run South
220 feet; thence run East 150 feet to place of beginni~g, lying
and being in Section 17, Township 35 South~ Ranqe 40 East, St.
Lucie County, Florida, (formerly the L.M. 4nd Gertrude Strick-
land property).
and
Begin at the intersection of the West side of Totten Road and
the North line of the SWi of the SWi of Section 17, Township
35 South, Range 40 East, thence run West along North line of
said SWi a distance of 294 feet; thence South parallel with the
West line of said SWi of SWi a distance of 244.16 feet; thence
East parallel with the North line of said SWi of SWi a distance
of 320.02 feet; more or less to the W. side of said Totten Road;
thence North along:the West side of Totten Road 244.6 feet, more
or less, to P.O.B, in st. Lucie County, Florida.
be, and the same is hereby changed from R-1C to C-l.
BE IT PURTHER RESOLVED, that the Zoning Di~ector of St. Lucie
County is hereby authorized and directed to cause the changes to be
made on the official Zoning Map of St~ Lucie County as set out above,
and to make notation thereof of referenGe to the date of adoption 9f
