at said date, have consented in writing to the modifications and altcra-
tiolls of the Indenture effected by this Sizth Supplemental Indenture;
and
`VHEREAS, the ezecution and deli~•ery of this Sizth Supplemental
Indenture has been duh authorized by the Cumpany; and
WaEREes, all conditions and requirements necessary to authorize
the ezecution, acknowledgment and delivery of this Sizth Supplemental
Indenture and duly and legally to effect the modifications and alter-
ations of the Indenture provided for by this Sizth Supplemental Ilulen-
ture, and to make the Indenture, as supplemented, modified and altered
hereby, a valid, binding and legal instrument for the security of the
Bonds issued and to be issued thereunder, and to make the Bonds
of the 1982 Series, when duly ezecuted by the Company and -authenti-
cated by the Trustee and duly issued, the valid and legally binding
obligations of the Company, have been complied with or have been
done and performed ; and
~PHEREA$, each of the Trustees has full power and authority to
eaecnte this Supplemental Indenture and to accept and ezecute the
trust herein imposed upon it;
Now, THEREFORE, THIS SI%TH SUPPLEAiE~TAL 1xDEKTURE `~ IT-
NESBETH
That Honaton Tezas Qas and Oil Corporation, in consideration of
the premises and of the mutual covenants herein contained and of the
sam of One Dollar to it duly paid by the Trustees at or before the enseal-
ing and delivery of these presents, and for other valuable considera-
tions, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, and in order further
to secure the payment of the principal of and interest and premium, if
any, on all Bonds at any time issued and Outstanding ender the Inden-
ture, as supplemented and modified by this Sizth Supplemental Inden-
ture and as the same may from time to time be further supplemented or
modified hereafter, according to their tenor and effect, alld the per-
formance and ob$ervance of all the covenants and conditions in the
Bonds and the Indenture and herein contained, and to declare the terms
and conditions upon and subject to which the Bonds are, and are to
be, secured and Bonds of the 1982 Series are to be issued, has ezecuted
